Modern Dental restorations use cast gold, titanium, zirconia and ceramic are designed to last a very long time.

However, even the worlds best dentistry and the most perfect natural teeth can be damaged and destroyed by gum disease (periodontitis), tooth disease (caries),
or bite problems (bruxing & clenching).

Therefore, your dental work comes with a warranty conditional on a specific maintenance regime.

Just as a motor vehicle warranty is conditional on a regular service history, your dental work is a significant investment which requires an appropriate level of care to maintain.

You are asked to

1. 1. Attend regular six monthly preventive smilecare, to ensure everything is as it should be.
2. If you are at risk of tooth decay, we will provide a caries risk test and preventive treatment.
3. If you are at risk of clenching and grinding while you are asleep you will be asked to protect your teeth with a specially designed orthotic that prevents this from happening.
