Dairy

We drink mother’s milk as babies because human milk supplies us with essential Calcium and other minerals, proteins, carbohydrate and fat for our rapidly growing body. Calcium is also needed to from 20 baby teeth and 32 adult teeth by age 8y old.

But as the adult human ages, it usually loses its ability to easily breakdown some of the proteins in animal milk.

Goat’s milk is digested and absorbed far better than cow’s milk.

50% of the human daily mineral requirement is calcium because bone cells are constantly repairing and renewing bone. Calcium is also used in muscles to enable contraction. If you dont get enough calcium, the body will rob bone for its daily needs.

Osteoporosis can be prevented by muscular exercise and good source of calcium. This is especially important during childhood and puberty when the body builds its skeletal framework.

Calcium metabolism requires Vitamin D ( that the body produces from exposure to sunlight), magnesium and correct hormone balance. As hormone balance changes with age, it is important to be aware of changing requirements of diet and exercise to maintain healthy bones.

Good sources of dietary calcium are tahini, almonds, tofu, kelp, cheese, spinach.

If you are lactose intolerant, try lactose free milk.

If you are affected by bloating and stomach cramps, or excess mucous production from inability to metabolise dairy proteins, a metabolic enzyme called NatBio Digesteasy can be used to neutralise the irritant proteins. This same natural enzyme works to neutralise gluten and other dietary proteins that people find hard to digest.

If you would like to try some NatBio Digesteasy contact
